A new website and a new location at Faneuil Hall
Wednesday, December 7th, 2011

A tough economy has caused many people and businesses to reconsider the re-glazing industry. Costs have skyrocketed and revenues have fallen…giving rise to serious questions about cost savings.
That is where Custom Glaze comes in. We provide homeowners and businesses with a tub and tile resurfacing service that reduces operating costs and exposure to risk that is:
- Cost Effective
- High Quality
- Durable
- Non-Toxic
- American Made
- Fully Guaranteed for Five Years
Our society seemed to be one where the question was “Why didn’t you remodel?” We are making it so that you ask, “Why did you remodel?”

Spending is as Spending Does….
Friday, September 16th, 2011
After meeting with so many people that run, own or manage some portion of a Hotel, Motel or Inn I see one thing over and over and over again. Properties, devalued through the appearance of bathrooms and showers with no solution but wasteful spending in sight…really.
The problems that exist in a bathroom are constantly requiring attention, while deteriorating, while reducing their perceived value in the market, with no plan for changing any of it…really.
Our system would allow all their concerns to be cost effectively address, bring uniformity to their bathrooms, improve appearance, reduce maintenance, reduce the maintenance costs itself, free valuable time. But they don’t see spending as spending.
They cut week to week checks for all the issues in this area, waste administrative time, and because they sink all those costs into “operating costs” they believe that they are not real and cannot be reduced.
The fact is that they are real and, ergo, can be reduced. In no other area of business are we willing to throw money down the drain, almost literally, as we do with bathrooms. They are highly used, highly abused and taken for granted. A hole in the wall, you charge the credit card on file for damage, right? A cracked tile or chip in the tub, you pay for it, right?
With the right implementation of managerial process and our system, the savings are incredible. Call and ask us how and why…

Service Matters
Friday, September 9th, 2011
We got a phone call this week from a gentleman that had called several companies looking for someone to repair and reglaze is tub. He had person after person not return his call or not show up to do the job. He called us on a Thursday and told us that he had tenants moving in that Saturday. We informed him, helped him choose the right package for his needs and completed the next day in time for his tenant move-in…Service Matters!

Leachable Lead
Friday, September 2nd, 2011
Most people think that the most offensive thing about this tub is its color…they would be half right. In a study done by Good Morning America nearly 3/4 of all tubs tested that were made before 1978 had leachable amounts of lead (Pb). This deadly element impedes neurological development, can harm developing fetuses and lead to long term developmental issues.
Our product seals in lead and prevents it from entering the water you bathe in or entering the water system we all drink from. The water treatment plants we have were not designed to remove contaminants like lead, so when we flush it, we brush with it. There are a number of products out there that prevent lead leaching into the water in your tub, but only one that is internationally certified to be non-toxic.

New Lower Prices!!
Thursday, September 1st, 2011
Well with the new website, we have also rolled out lower prices. The market has become flooded with fly-by-night reglazing companies. As layoffs continue, many people look for new trades since their old construction jobs are gone. This has forced market prices lower and we, at Custom Glaze, are working to give you no reason not to use our company.
